Tene Omarim is a community settlement in southern Israel, home to families, many of whom are evacuees of Gush Katif.

The town's existing mikvah is very old and outdated, and no longer adequately meets the community’s needs. The building is small, the infrastructure is antiquated. The combined factors do not allow a respectful and pleasant experience.

Currently, significant renovation and expansion of the mikvah are in the planning stage, including the construction of a new bor tevilah in accordance with the halachic rulings of Chabad. The goal of the renovations is to create a luxurious, welcoming space that enables the women of the community to observe the laws of purity with dignity.
