Eitan is a small moshav near the city of Kiryat Gat, which was founded in 5715 by Tunisian olim. With time the little town expanded, and to date, about 500 families call Eitan home. The residents in the moshav are traditional or modern orthodox.
The extensive usage of the Mikvah in Eitan has caused it to become rundown and dilapidated, forcing the residents to stop using the premises. It has necessitated the complete demolition of the old premises so that a brand new state-of-the-art Mikvah be built in its stead.
Much effort has been expended in the beautiful architectural design of the new Mikvah to enable residents of neighboring villages to use the Mikvah in Eitan.
