Karnei Shomron is a large town in central Shomron. The mix of residents of Karnei comprises primarily of secular and Modern Orthodox families.
The Moshav, which was founded in 1978, has thousands of families and is divided into different sections and neighborhoods.
The existing Mikvah has serviced the large community for many years; however, due to continuous usage and poor maintenance, the dilapidated condition is offensive to many women and prevents them from using the Mikvah and inevitably causing discontinuity of Taharat Ha’Mishpachah. Merkaz L’Taharat Ha’Mishpachah has undertaken the total renovation of the existing premises and is rebuilding a state-of-the-art ultra-modern Mikvah which will serve the community.
