Amirim is a Yishuv (village) in northern Israel, under the jurisdiction of the Merom Hagalil Regional Council. The existing mikvah has been operational for decades and is run-down and old. very old. The small, outdated facility does not allow for comfortable, dignified tevilah, and a modern upgrade is vital.
Though secular, local residents requested a new mikvah, valuing the experience of proper, respectful immersion. Renovating the premises will create a spacious, pleasant environment, restoring the mitzvah of taharat ha’mishpacha to community life in a dignified, safe manner.
