Even Shmuel is located in the heart of the Lachish region, south of Kiryat Gat.
The current mikvah is severely neglected, with outdated infrastructure that is unsuitable for the growing community's needs. Structural defects, moisture, and aging damage have turned using the mikvah into a challenging and unpleasant experience.
The need for a new, updated, welcoming, respectable mikvah is vital.
A newly constructed mikvah — modernized and dignified, will strengthen the women of the community, encourage observance of the mitzvah, and restore the mikvah's central role in communal life.
