The women’s mikvah in Midrakh Oz, located in the Megiddo Regional Council, is one of only two mikvahs in the entire council area. Midrakh Oz is a small moshav with approximately 250 residents, a mix of religious and secular individuals. However, the mikvah serves women from across the region, regardless of their background.

The mikvah was built many years ago and is now in a state requiring urgent attention:

  • Decayed infrastructure – plumbing and electrical systems are worn out and no longer function properly.
  • Unreliable heating systems – the mikveh is often cold, making it uncomfortable and unsuitable for use.

There is no external funding or support available for the renovation. However, Avraham and Yafit Popovich have taken on the responsibility of raising the funds for this critical project, dedicating the effort in hopes of being blessed with children.

The planned renovation will transform the mikvah into an accessible, welcoming, and fully functional space, meeting the needs of all women in the area.
