Amidar is a large neighborhood in Nahariya that is currently undergoing expansion. There has yet to be a kosher mikvah in the area and the closest facility is a twenty-minute drive and walking distance of at least one hour. This distance makes its accessibility to the Amidar neighborhood on Shabbat and Chag very inconvenient.
Currently, Merkaz L’Taharat Ha’Mishpacha is constructing a brand new state-of-the-art modernized facility with five preparation rooms and two mikvahs for tevilah. One of the mikvahs will be constructed according to the halachic principles of Chabad.
