Moshav Kisalon is a moshav in the Jerusalem mountains, near the city of Beit Shemesh, and is under the jurisdiction of the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. The moshav was established in 1949 by Yemenite immigrants who came to Israel as part of Operation "On Eagles' Wings."
The moshav is home to about 80 families and is a diverse community.
The mikvah in the moshav was built decades ago and was old and run-down. After numerous requests from residents of Kisalon, Merkaz L'Taharat Ha'Mishpacha undertook to renovate the existing mikvah and are confident that a beautiful up-to-date mikvah will increase purity in the moshav.
